We are recruiting children, young people, and family members to take part in a research study to discover how lungs grow and what respiratory health looks like for people with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH)
We will also be inviting those who are interested to come to King’s College Hospital for a few hours, to take part in comprehensive lung function and exercise testing.
As part of this study, we will be performing 5 main activities:
Lung function testing - to find out how the lungs are growing and working.
Exercise testing - to find out if there are any barriers to enjoying exercise and sports.
Symptom Questionnaires - to find out how children and young people manage in terms of their respiratory health and quality of life.
Patient Experience Interviews - to find out what matters most to children and young people about their condition.
Air Pollution Analysis - to find out if local air pollution and other environmental factors affect how lungs grow and work.
